Premier Aquatics’ emphasis on perfect stroke technique has led to the formation of five different seasonal and year-round swim teams in Newport Beach, Aliso Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, and Laguna Beach. We are currently hiring Assistant Swim Coaches, Head Swim Coaches, and team assistants. Even if you are only looking for summer work, Premier is the place for you. Enjoy a job that allows you to play every day, and help children grow and advance their swimming ability. Our pre-competitive program is geared towards teaching kids the basics of swim team and stroke refinement.
From the start of each swimmers’ experience with Premier Aquatics, we are sure to communicate our desire to push kids towards participation in one of our swim programs. Although only a few swimmers continue their participation on a year-round basis, we work hard to make sure all swimmers get a proper swimming foundation from the start. What we get in return is teams of swimmers who are efficient and coachable, and eager to continue to develop and improve their swimming.

What Type of Background Do I Need?
To be an effective swim coach, our philosophy is that you must have had experience in the swimming world. Whether your experience is as a swim instructor, a swimmer, or as a coach, we would love to have you on board. Although we push a non-competitive developmental program, it is imperative that you have been part of a swim program in the past so that you can truly understand the “in’s and out’s” of swimming.
Seasonal vs. Year-Round Coaching
Based on what work you are looking for in a coaching position, Premier Aquatics operates summer only programs, as well as a year-round swim team program. We are hiring for the following positions.
