The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center (AVAC) is open to the public on a first come first serve basis. Adherence to rules and regulations is required and helpful information about the facility is provided below. We look forward to being of service to you at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center.
Hours & Fees
We are excited to offer extended hours through the summer to allow for evening lap swimming hours. We are normally open until 6:00pm Monday through Thursday in the summer, but will host lap swimming in two lanes after lessons end from 6:05pm until 8pm, Monday through Thursday.

The recreational pool is now opening 1 hour after facility opens and closes 1 hour before the facility.

The splash pad, kid pool and spa are open all recreational swim hours. Please note, any swimmers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult to access the spa.

Events/Closure Calendar
Pool Rules
The following rules and procedures for recreational swim participants are to be followed at all times:
- All patrons must adhere to signage and lifeguard instructions. Failure to do so may result in revocation of daily pass or membership.
- Proper swim attire required for all patrons (no jeans or t-shirts allowed)
- All children under the age of 3 must wear a nylon swim diaper on top of a disposable swim diaper.
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- All children under 14 must take a 10 minute safety break out of the water per hour as administered by the lifeguards.
- No running or horseplay allowed.
- Only coast guard approved flotation devices allowed: no water-wings, inflatables, rafts, boogie boards, mermaid tails or anything that prohibits the ability to swim, or non-swimmers rely on to swim. This is at management and lifeguard discretion.
- No glass containers of any type or alcohol permitted on premise.

Every day from 10:00am until 3:30 pm, the lap pool has three lanes open for lap swimming; 3:30pm to 6:00pm lap swimming is unavailable.
Tuesday and Thursday early morning lap swim is available at 6:30 am with all 6 lanes open until 9:50am, then three lanes open until 3:30pm. Monday – Thursday evening lap swim is available (two lanes) from after 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Splash pad and kid pool are open all day! Birthday Parties
Birthday Parties are not yet published for Fall of 2022, pending an official schedule to coordinate with other special events, summer camps, and weddings. Party packages include use of the grassy event area, tables and chairs for the attendees and full use of the public facility for the day!

Our concessions consist of a variety of ice cream, chips, granola bars, Gatorade, sodas and La Croix.
