What We Do

Premier Aquatics manages the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center from top to bottom. They run a robust swim lesson program including learn to swim, swim team, private lessons, and parent and me. Premier Aquatics has helped the City of Aliso Viejo get their pool to operate without a loss.

Premier hires, trains, and manages all the staff at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center. We, like the city, want to provide a space for the residents where they can enjoy the pools, the grass space, the splash pad and more all while staying safe in and around the water.

How it Started

Premier Aquatics has been working with The City of Aliso Viejo for almost a decade. At first, Premier Aquatics was contracted to run swim lessons and swim team for the summer. The facility as a whole was only open from May – September with a nearly 500k deficit each year. Premier Aquatics partnered with the city to manage the Aquatic Center and open it year round to the public. Through top tier programming, Premier teaches over 1500 lessons a week in the summer months and sees over 400 daily rec swimmers while staffing the facility with lifeguards at all times.

Public Access Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center

The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center (AVAC) is open to the public on a first come first serve basis. Adherence to rules and regulations is required and helpful information about the facility is provided below. We look forward to being of service to you at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center.

Pool Rules

The following rules and procedures for recreational swim participants are to be followed at all times:

  1. All patrons must adhere to signage and lifeguard instructions. Failure to do so may result in revocation of daily pass or membership.
  2. Proper swim attire required for all patrons (no jeans or t-shirts allowed)
  3. All children under the age of 3 must wear a nylon swim diaper on top of a disposable swim diaper.
  4. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  5. All children under 14 must take a 10 minute safety break out of the water per hour as administered by the lifeguards.
  6. No running or horseplay allowed.
  7. Only coast guard approved flotation devices allowed: no water-wings, inflatables, rafts, boogie boards, mermaid tails or anything that prohibits the ability to swim, or non-swimmers rely on to swim. This is at management and lifeguard discretion.
  8. No glass containers of any type or alcohol permitted on premise.

Monday – Thursday Every day from 10:00am until 3:30 pm, the lap pool has three lanes open for lap swimming; 3:30pm to 6:00pm lap swimming is unavailable.Tuesday and Thursday early morning lap swim is available at 6:30 am with all 6 lanes open until 9:50am, then three lanes open until 3:30pm.

Monday – Thursday evening lap swim is available (two lanes) from after 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Splash pad and kid pool are open all day!

The recreational pool is closed until Spring.

To schedule a birthday party for 2024 please call (949) 425-2559 or email admin@premierswimacademy.com. Party packages include use of the grassy event area, tables and chairs for the attendees and full use of the public facility for the day!

At the Aliso Viejo Aquatics Center we have the following items available for sale: Adult Goggles, Youth Goggles, Fins, Swim Caps, Reusable Swim Diapers, Pull Buoys & Hand Paddles, Youth Swim Parkas, Nose Clips & Ear Plugs, Mesh Swim Bags and Kickboards.

Our concessions consist of a variety of ice cream, chips, granola bars, Gatorade, sodas and La Croix.
