Life at Premium Aquatics
General Lifeguard Duties

Supervises swimming activities at the aquatics facility and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.

Advises swimmers of improper activities or dangers and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.

Responds to emergency situations and administers first-aid when necessary.

Ability to work independently.

Maintain focus at a high level for extended periods of time.

Evaluates conditions for safety and activates emergency action plan if necessary.
7
Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists.

Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.

Assists with pool chemical tests and records results accordingly.
10
Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and the management team.
Technology Used at Premier
Premier employees use a variety of different apps to during their time at Premier Aquatics.
What apps will be used?
- Rippling is a website Premier Aquatic’s employees use to view and update personal information including: tax documents, social security number, banking information, address, among others.
- When I Work is the app used for scheduling and clocking in and out of every shift. However, it is also used for other general announcements or information.
- OneTeam360 is an app used for tracking points and leveling up based on each shift you work. Every month we offer “Monthly Merch” which each employee will receive if they work a certain number of shifts in that month. This app is used to document interactions between staff and managers.
General Cell Phone Use
All participants must know that the cell phone use on duty is not allowed. Under no circumstances are participants allowed to use their mobile device while on duty as a lifeguard. The only authorized use of a mobile device is to call emergency services or the manager when there is an emergency. Any unauthorized cell phone use can be grounds for termination.
