Process to Apply
Application Process with Premier Aquatics
We recommend that all applicants start their process as soon as possible as the visa portion can take some time. We recommend starting at least six months before you would like to arrive to the United States. Premier Aquatics does not facilitate the visa and the applicant will need to find a visa sponsorship program that will assist them through the J-1 visa process.
Once the applicant submits their application with Premier Aquatics, it normally takes one week for them to receive a final answer on our behalf of being accepted or declined.
As part of the selection process, all J-1 applicants must attend an initial lifeguard training course, which is a two full-day course to obtain their Lifeguard Certificate. The Lifeguard Course must be paid first; however, it’ll be discounted for all employees. Also, all applicants will be paid for the orientation and sexual harassment training.
For their application process, all applicants will receive help and assistance from Premier’s Hiring Team. You can look forward to working with our Talent Acquisition Manager, Jessica Dopudja and our Talent Acquisition Assistant, Amaia Hazas who will guide you through the entire process. Applicants can contact them for any questions or issues that arise at anytime during this process.

Interview Process

First, it’s important that you show yourself as who you are. We want you to shine! Tell us as much as possible about themselves, we love to know everything about our applicants, hobbies, previous work experience and fun facts, among other things.
Second, it’s crucial that they learn as much as possible about the position or program they’re applying to, as well as what they are expecting by working in Premier Aquatics. The more they know about the position, the company, our team, and their expectations, as well as ours, the better.
J-1 Visa process
The program’s purpose is to give foreign people the opportunity to take part in educational and cultural programs in the United States.
To start the J-1 visa process, firstly, the United States Department of State designates sponsors who independently or through third parties recruit candidates for the J-1 visa. Each applicant will have a sponsor which will oversee their visa application process, as well as give pre-arrival information and orientation.
All J-1 Visa program participants are responsible to register on SEVIS upon arrival and conduct monthly check-ins with their J-1 Visa Sponsor. If the participant’s contract is terminated or they leave the company, the participant will be immediately reported to their designated J-1 Visa Sponsor. In addition, the J-1 Visa participant will be responsible for covering all unpaid rent, course fees, etc. More information regarding this can be found here! All participants must know, that according to the dates on the DS-2019 (document that indicates the start and end date of the program), they only can enter the United States a maximum of 30 days prior to the program starting, not a day before. Additionally, once the program ends, they’ll have 30 days to leave the United States. During that month, they can travel around the country, however, they won’t be able to work or study.
All applicants need to apply and start the process to obtain their J-1 Visa once they have received a job offer from Premier Aquatics, not before. Applicants can use the following links to guide themselves and find information for their J-1 Visa process and the applications.
