Private Lessons
Youth Swimming Lessons
Private swimming lessons are designed as a completely customizable learning experience. Depending on the swimmer’s ability level, participants will progress from learning the basics of swimming to a more advanced refinement of their stroke. The benefit of private swim instruction is that it helps younger children learn in a more focused atmosphere without the distractions of others in the class.
Adult Swimming Lessons
For adults, it serves as a chance to focus on exactly what is needed for the individual as opposed to a general team or group lesson. This is a great option for younger/more developmental children, special needs children, and more competitive swimmers looking for advanced stroke technique. An instructor will be assigned to you based on your needs (i.e., special needs swimmers will be paired with an instructor who works solely with swimmers with special needs, and a competitive swimmer will be paired with a swim team coach who works solely on advanced techniques).
Swim Team
The Flying Fish Swim Team is a developmental swim team that practices Monday through Thursday, year-round at the Aliso Viejo Aquatics Center. The Swim Team has been designed to teach swimmers in a fun environment with a heavy focus on technique. The goal is to provide swimmers with a great foundation to the sport. During the summer months, the Flying Fish practice at the Aliso Niguel High School and participate in the Orange County Summer Swim League that competes with local teams at swim meets.
All swimmers wanting to join swim team will need to tryout unless they have just graduated from Level 6 of the Learn-to-Swim program with Premier Aquatics. Swimmers will need to complete 25-meters all four strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle) with adequate technique. During the tryout swimmers will also do a timed 50-meter freestyle.
Jr Guard Prep (Returning Spring of 2024!)
Jr Guard Prep program (JGP) students swim Monday through Thursday for two-week sessions at the same time each evening. JGP prepares swimmers to pass entry tests required for enrollment into local Jr Guard summer programs by focusing on increasing swimmer’s endurance, efficiency in technical freestyle, water treading skills, and breath control.
JGP sessions are billed as soon as enrollment occurs at a rate of $225 per session. Swimmers may require multiple two-week sessions to develop adequate endurance.
ELIGIBILITY: To join our JGP program you must either be currently active in Premier Aquatics’ Learn to Swim Program and have graduated Level 4 OR schedule a time to be evaluated in a swim assessment. This is to assure swimmers are placed in the appropriate skill level to get the most out of the experience, as well as be safe the group team setting.
Fast Track (Continuing through Fall 2023!)
Fast Track students swim Monday-Thursday for two-week sessions at the same time each day. The purpose of this program is to expedite learning swim skills in a shorter period of time! Fast Tracks are billed as soon as enrollment occurs at a rate of $200 per session. Considering the limited availability of Fast Track sessions, makeups and further discounts do not apply. Fast Tracks are a seasonal lesson program.
